SR22 INFORMATION CENTER
WILL A NON-OWNER SR22 POLICY WORK FOR ME?
An SR22 non-owner or named-operator liability policy is insurance for you only. No vehicle of yours would be insured. This is a liability only policy that is usually written with a state’s minimum liability limits. This type of policy is quick and simple to issue and is inexpensive when compared to traditional auto insurance policies.
An SR22 filing can be attached to a NON-OWNER policy to satisfy the state’s requirements for license reinstatement. This is done if you do not own a vehicle. However, if you do own a vehicle(s), and have it insured with another company, you can still use the NON-OWNER policy to reinstate your driver's license. The NON-OWNER policy would stay in force for the three year duration that the state of Nevada requires, and then you would simply cancel the NON OWNER policy and continue with your current coverage. The term NON-OWNER policy simply refers to the fact that you are not insuring your vehicle on it.
There are only a few companies that will write this type of insurance policy. At NevadaSR22 Insurance, we have been specializing in NEVADA NON OWNER SR22 coverage for over twenty years and we will issue you a NEVADA SR22 with a NON OWNER policy. Call us now or fill out the quote request, and we will help get your driver's license reinstated.
